Homework

Any unfinished work will be sent home for homework.  Unfinished work will be noted in the planner.  If a student does not have his/her homework completed the next day, they will be in for recess to complete the work.  Students should complete at least 20 minutes of reading each night.
Student planners are checked each day for a signature.  Students are expected to have a parent/guardian sign their planner to ensure homework has been completed and returned to school. Rewards are given on Monday for a signature for each day of the previous week!

Classroom Notes

  • We will continue to talk about behavior and expectations.  Ask your child about “The 3 BE’s.”  (Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful) Students will  receiving “Gold Coins” for showing the “3 Be’s”.  Mrs. Nord has something special planned if we meet our goal!!

  • Please make sure your child is appropriately dressed for the weather.  This means sending hats, mittens, heavy coats, pants, etc. to school with your child.
